The DT310 USB flash drive is expensive, even now. Expect to pay more than $600 US, there are no cheap bargains. So for that kind of money you would expect you could return it, if it was “defective”. DT310 are rarely defective, it was a good usb flash drive, so why do so many eBay sellers try to put “No Returns” in their listings for DT310’s? Afterall, all they have to do is return it to Kingston Technologies to receive a credit. Of course they can only return genuine Kingston items. While eBay sellers put no returns in their listings, it doesn’t mean anything, or stop you from getting a refund, if the item is a counterfeit. This is extremely important to eBay buyers of counterfeit memory.
You are not required to return the flash memory to the seller either for a refund, it is their financial loss, not yours under the new rules. Obviously you need to provide eBay with information that the item is a counterfeit and if it is a Kingston item, that is easy to do. If you bid and bought a DT310 for under $600 US you better test it and validate it with Kingston Technolgies if you purchased it on eBay. Be safe, be sure. Avoid any eBay seller who puts “No Returns” in their flash memory listing. If they are not confident in their product, should you be?
